<p>I think CMU may be getting a reputation of easy admissions... I dont think that's the case. I think Carnegie looks for a certain type of student that does not have to exemplify the "high statistic" quota.</p>

no phone call -- why would they call you anyways? the decision is online...</p>
<p>exiledazn- by phone call, we mean the phone call from students from the admissions office. students called many applicants like a month or two ago just asking if they had any questions. the phone call has nothing to do with the actual admissions decision. some people just want to see if the phone call correlates with acceptances since some people were not called.</p>

<p>Gonna put myself on the priority wait list and do whatever I can to make sure it works out. CMU is definitely my first choice.</p>

<p>lkf - I don't remember the exact number, but it was half the tuition. I also got no financial aid (my family's expected contribution was 60k...lol).</p>
