I reccomend the NorthFace Jester. I have one in pink and I think it's a great bag. I don't use it that much though because I mainly like tote bag styles for school.

Last year I used a customized Longchamp bag which I LOVE. For this year (Grade 12) I'll either be ordering a new one or using last years if I can't afford a new one lol.

So, yeah, get the NorthFace Jester in any color. Definitely my favorite out of those.

lol wow...in my highschool, 60% of the student population dont use bookbags...its still a new concept to me...cuz no one takes books home except for like a notebook or folders

At the risk of sounding like an advertisement...I have to reccommend my backpack that I've had for a year. It is so excellent. All through 10th grade my back would get easily sore using an LL Bean backpack, then in 11th I got this one: http://www.jansport.com/js_product_detail.php?cid=8&pid=T036

It has really sturdy straps and distributes the weight well--I could carry around Campbells Biology and another book and not feel like I was going to fall over. After a year of heavy use it shows no signs of wear. It's just a really good backpack, not too fancy looking but it's probably going to last me through college.

I'm bored enough to reply.

Grade: 12 (starting next Monday!)
My backpack: my awesome three-year old red Jansport that I pulled the Jansport label off of and sewed/applied badges from my travels on, plus a couple of buttons (tres cool, in my opinion)
Go for: #1, but I really don't like any of them (those criss-cross things annoy me)
