The OFFICIAL Brown Rejectees Corner - Class of 2013

All of us rejectees have been stuffed and crowded into an infinitely small corner (area is essentially 0). It’s not very comfortable, but all of us will live.

But of course none of us are happy (I’m on the same boat), so I’ve made this thread for all of you to spill.

Brown admits: I won’t be at Brown to hold the 1st Annual Brown Favorite Dessert Voting Contest. Man. I really wanted to learn to bake all the many different cakes/pies/miscellaneous desserts that you guys voted for so that we could sit down together on Orientation Day and discuss/debate about our favorite desserts. It would have been so cool. (That said, go TP Brown’s admission office for me. Perhaps that’ll change their mind. :D)

Yea, I’m pretty disappointed too :(. I checked during my last dress rehearsal ever. BAD IDEA. oh well, end of a dream…

I’m upset as well :(. Brown was my first choice and they rejected me but Stanford accepted me…admissions is crazy

^Yikes. That’s not a very good idea. It could have potentially tainted your memories you’ll take from your last dress rehearsal.

Sorry to hear that!!

^soontobemed: Congrats on Stanford. At least you got in somewhere. (I’ll be trying again in 4 years)

yeah nice job on stanford

i got waitlisted by my other top choices (princeton, upenn, columbia)…
if they don’t work out, then i’m prob lookin at state school (Rutgers)

woo woo

duke or tufts for me i guess. im happy.

I love how they try to make you feel better by saying 1 spot for every 16 applicants which disregards yield rate and waitlists.
