Let's all get those jitters out together! Just submitted applications for Carnegie Mellon ED, MIT EA, and Drexel EA. Who's in the same boat?

Columbia ED submitted last week, still have to send in the supplements though. So nervous!

Just finished Stanford’s. It’s gonna be a long month and a half.

I submitted my parts of the applications and paid the application fees, but my school hasn’t uploaded their school report, and one of my teachers still has to upload my recommendation…scream

Submitted to Indiana U of Bloomington, and University of Pittsburgh. I’m scheduled to submit Baylor EA tomorrow… Don’t really care about Indiana U, but I’m willing to consider University of Pittsburgh and Baylor even though they are safeties.

I’m also scheduled to submit Emory and Agnes Scott next week, but I need to finish my common app essay. Argh.

Haha my last teacher uploaded theirs just now. Yesss!

quidditchcat how many schools are you applying to?

Um… 23? And then the UCs, which are all one app. So 24 applications to fill out. 35 essays total.

Harvard ea, submitted & interviewed already.

Submitted Johns Hopkins ED about 2 days ago - supplements and everything. Now just have to wait! I already have a countdown going on my calendar, haha! 47 more days…

quidditchcat oh my god I would die. Good luck 36 and onerepublic!

Stupid question. How do you know when teachers have uploaded recs? Is that through common app or naviance?

Oh yeah. My application is in ED. I only sent in the one obviously. Wishing us all luck!

Either, but it’s easy just to check the Common App website. Click on “My Colleges,” then pick a random one and click “Assign Recommenders.” Under the Teacher heading it will tell you whether they’ve submitted the recommendation or not.

Duke ED hopefully getting submitted tomorrow… Four day weekend laziness already setting in.

Deadline is officially gone for some of us

Good luck to you all!

Aaaand my school failed to submit the school report and probably my transcripts too. I hope colleges still consider me for EA admissions, but probably not.

^hows that even legal?

Eh, incompetence is pretty much always legal.

I’m hoping it’s just a glitch in the Common App and they did send it after all, but I don’t know.

To all you seniors: my school always tells the current seniors to go receive their transcripts, but what does the transcript look like? Is it just a copy on a piece of paper, or is it like formal and everything?

I hope everything ends up okay for you halcyon.
