Thought it wouldn't be too early to this thread since we'll be applying just 9 months. I'll finally have my math and English out the way and enough pre-reqs done to choose from 3-4 majors. :D

I’m nervous about this whole process now. Can’t imagine how I’ll be next year when I actually apply.

ps you totally freaked me out by making me realize I’ll be applying to schools in 9 months. Thanks.

i think it is only fair that you allow yourself to start stressing AFTER fall '10 results are out. lol.

^^^psh I started stressing loooooooooong ago

i started stressing ever since i started at the jc after being rejected from the schools i wanted to go to. This thread will be nice.

Yeah I been stressing since I started in summer '09. It seems as though I still have a mountain to climb before I can even begin recieving letters. Im losing sleep over the fact that I have to take Calculus 1 and 2 next fall and spring, and Im already having trouble with Trig because Im having to relearn intermediate Algebra.
BUT, thus far:
4.0 gpa
16 transferrable courses.
So, i got my fingers crossed

Applying to: (UCBerkeley-Business/Poli-sci), (UCLA-Poli-sci/Econ), (UCSB-Poli-Sci/Econ), (UCSD-Poli-sci/Econ)

Current School: CC in Dallas, TX

GPA: 3.91

Pre-reqs: I should have all of them completed by the time I apply.

EC: Phi Theta Kappa, Varsity baseball, and some community service

Awards: Academic All-American (for baseball), Dean’s List; I also have two nice letters of recommendation from a couple professors.

My family is moving from Dallas, TX to Cali in the fall, so I will be paying in-state tuition when I transfer to a UC school.

Thanks in advance for the review!

Holy thread resurrection, Batman!

If you were a CCC student you’d be in good shape, as an OOS student, it’s tougher to say.

What about UCSB and UCSD Econ? Does anyone know the accepted transfer GPAs for UCSB/UCSD Econ?
