The Official Fall 2014 UCLA Transfer Decisions Thread

@campfireweekend I did that too, were you able to see anything? My URSA says that I don’t have financial information but they don’t give me the option of looking on the 14-15 school year.

Hmm it also says my fafsa was requested and received on the 14. I did not press summer student when I signed up just new student.

@CooCooCaChoo25‌

I’ve heard of that claim, but there’s no evidence that it’s true. Furthermore, there’s no good reason to believe that Berkeley and UCLA admissions officers are working together so that you can only be accepted to one school. Plenty of students get accepted to both schools.

@Philosoup‌

I’m not sure. I know that it’s spring break right now, so the hours are probably different. It’s probably not from 9 to 2 when classes are in session.

@philosoup the intake hours are usually until 4ish when classes are in session. I believe the office closes at 5:30.

Thanks guys. So if we get there at 3:30, do we only have 30 minutes to finish?

@CooCooCaChoo25‌

That’s just an urban legend made up by some angry rejects :stuck_out_tongue:

Honestly, that would be some BS lol.

Ucla rep at my cc also confirmed about tommorow. I dont want to go to work lol

@waterbottless that usually means you were rejected. sorry, I hope you get into Berkeley etc.

nvm, i have access to ursa but not to the current fin aid period… so this sucks… A LOT

Sorry robert, hopefully you get into Berkeley and the like.

@philosoup no that’s just the latest they’ll let you start. You’ll probably have until 5 pm. Try not to go on a Friday though, because I think that’s when they close early like at 2.

How do we access URSA? Do you just create a logon ID or do you need to email them/have a student ID number to do that?

@uclammg cool thanks. and again congrats on getting admitted.

@Moushi create user ID as summer student, and go into ursa https://www.ursa.ucla.edu/

@Philosoup‌ but you need to email them to get the UCLA ID number, right? I haven’t emailed them so I’m guessing there’s no way to check :(

@moushi use the ID number UCLA had given you. Look in your email

@waterbottless @robertshahinyan‌ Have you guys checked myUCLA, not URSA, yet?
Click “Finances and Jobs” --> Tracking Required Documents. I can see 14-15 documents on myUCLA but have no option for 14-15 school year on URSA.

@laysoriginal says no information for me there. I’m trying to convince myself that my application is being reviewed since it was turned in late… Like months late. They accepted it because there was a system error on the UC app website. I just really hope that’s it i was feeling pretty confident i got accepted…

I dont understand where we find our ucla 9 digit ID.
