I’m in!!! This is my first post on here but I’ve been reading and as anxious as the rest of y’all.

Major: Pre-International Development
GPA: 3.7
TAP certified
all prereq’s done
igetc done
accepted at UCSD and Irvine too, but I’ve really been waiting on this one hallelujah

@cayton Thanks man I appreciate it! And congrats to you! I’ve been lurking on these forums and you seemed like the person helping everyone out the most so you deserve it a lot.

@cctouc Im a polisci major and have similar stats to you (lower GPA, 3.94) and only completed 3 pre reqs but got in. Were you missing an english or math requirement? I believe there are 5 prereq courses and completing 3 is required. I only completed 3 but the others were not offered at my CC. You definitely appeal!

I was accepted.
Major: Linguistics and Computer Science
GPA: 3.5-3.6
Pre-reqs: All offered completed
IGETC: Yes
TAP: no
So unexpected I couldn’t even sit down and post this until now it feels like I’m dreaming.

I read the same thing @tinydancer13.
It isn’t that I am not trying to maintain my GPA, but if my admission is dependent on if I do or do not maintain a 4.0, well thats a bit of pressure.

@tinydancer13 I saw that too and it sounds crazy! I think they really mean that we should try to maintain the same level of academic achievement that we were accepted with. So don’t fail any classes or drop significantly from your current gpa.

Don’t quote me on that. Maybe we should call tomorrow and find out what the real deal is.

Maintaining your GPA basically means not getting a lot of C’s in your last semester(I think it’ll worry UCLA if you get 3 Cs or so in your last semester) and definitely not getting any D’s or F’s.

And thanks, franky! We all have to stick together and help each other out with these kinds of things and now our efforts have paid off!

Accepted!
3.74 GPA
Mechanical Engineering
Missing One Pre-Req
I must have the lowest GPA out of all engineering majors. I somehow beat the odds!

This is literally one of the happiest days of my life. Gotta thank @Cayton for all the advice/help he has given to countless amounts of users on this forum. Thank you, and I hope to see you this fall!! :)
