no on both of them. morris is past his prime and bush is just meh.

i like to look in at era since, for the most part, it determines the other stats.

i need a good strikeout pitcher...any good ones on the waiver wire?

just click on who has the most ks and divide that by the innings pitched.

so the top 2 would be ted lilly and daniel cabrera...are they good pitchers?

cabrera: 4.64/1.70
lilly: 4.13/1.53

cabrera is good if you can take a hit in whip.

Yeah, he's so damn inconsistent.
Personally, I judge pitchers by using sabermetric principles. So I use DIPS, K/BB ratio. This is the link to the DIPS leaders:

it shows why Bonderman is one of the most underrated pitchers in baseball. Get him while you can!

My leagues, first place in both since beginning:
http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/158328

first one: need a 1b and some closer.
second one: need 2b and SP

for now, switch gomes and huff. gomes has had great fantasy numbers this year and will continue to.

No Gomes is having an MRI on his shoulder and won't be playing much.

no, gomes is the starting DH and will only miss games in NL stadiums. he will play every other one because he won't be on the field.

What do you think of Clay Hensley? Any good? I'm picking up Daniel Bautista to boost up my Ks...so how's Hensley to counteract Bautisa's high whip?

What do you guys think of Ichiro & Blalock for Peavy, Youkilis, & Brian Giles if you have Ichiro & Blalock?

I'm need of a good power starter...I can have Nomar play 3rd & Nick Johnson (bench) take his place in the starting lineup, but I'd end up having Youkilis on my bench.

dont do that.

trade Nick Johnson for John Smoltz.

Do you actually think I could get Smoltz for Johnson?

did you see the part where it says he's played every day recently? you just proved my point. MRI or not, he is starting at DH. when he says that he means he wants to get back into the outfield. he is playing.

You might be able to.

Gleech: If he's getting an MRI he's certainly not 100%, I wouldn't start him until he's healthy!

what do you guys think of david ross of the cincinati (sic) reds?
