The *Official* Guidance Thread

That did not answer my question -.1
I do not want to block CC. It is my addiction. -.1
=-.2 = +.3 = 10.3/10

Any other ideas?

Yes, it did. It answered the time management question.

Start on Saturday.

Have you considered making a schedule with time blocks?

Time blocks?
Fine… i’ll make it 10.4

Time blocks are significant periods of time that one allows themself to complete a task in.

For example, 7:00 am -10:00 am.

Is it wise to drop Spanish after taking it for 8th,9th and 10th grade (all HS honor classes). I want to take AP stats instead, and i hate spanish.

What if I don’t finish what I am doing at exactly 10:00am?

You would then need to adjust your schedule.

What if I have something else scheduled at 10:00am?

That was solely an example. You don’t have to set a time block during that time period. You should schedule work time blocks around your other plans.

But what if I only have 7-10am and the rest of the day is taken up with other stuff? Ie, college confidential.

Lol, CC should not be considered a priority.

Why should it not be considered a priority?

this thread makes me smile.

How does CC serve as a productive aspect?

I can answer peoples questions in other forums. I already have 10 posts! I feel like I am helping =)

How can I learn to speak English?

Should I study for my Geometry test? It’s easy and I don’t like Geometry. I ARE BORED.

You should consider assisting people on here.

How do I manage my time better? (IE: not sit on the computer from 4-sleep time, and instead do stuff like schoolwork.)

I’m still trying to figure that out too. Fairy has been helping me though.

[Study Hacks](Study Hacks - Decoding Patterns of Success - Cal Newport)

Look at the articles on that blog. I’ve found them to be beneficial. There is a section devoted to time management.

I read that finally.
I found another interesting study site. I have yet to read it, though.
