The *Official* Guidance Thread

I am in constant need of guidance, so I have made this thread. I have an official "guidance counselor". Her name is Wartandall. Her rating is currently 10/10. She gives really good advice. If you need guidance in a certain matter whether the tough times in high school or something completely random, ask it here!

Would you recommend continuing my careless attitude or try and make straight A's this quarter?

You can make straight A’s with a careless attitude=CC mutation of senioritis. I suggest you try that.

Lol, Warts is so much more qualified than my GC.

I’d suggest that you choose the second option.

Haha, thanks!

I already love this thread!

Splonk, do you see wartsandall physically?

“You can make straight A’s with a careless attitude=CC mutation of senioritis. I suggest you try that.”

I am not a CCer, so, unfortunately, I can not do it with a careless attitude.

You’ll manage it. The typical CCer’s couldn’t get that disease…they would freak out because they would be physically unable to stay away from their homework.

I am bored out of my mind when it comes to music. I have listened to everything. I don’t know what to listen to. What do I do?

Splonk - Use Pandora; it’s awesome!

Have you considered going on iTunes?

I really don’t like iTunes. It takes a ridiculous amount of time to load/switch pages.

I second the Pandora idea.

“Splonk - Use Pandora; it’s awesome!”
I already use it. They are repeating songs! >=[

I don’t understand how itunes would solve my problem?

I don’t think that I’ve ever used Pandora before.

I usually just look at the recommendations on iTunes.

There are recommendations on iTunes?

Have you tried adding new “seed” artists or songs to Pandora? If you don’t want to listen to a song on Pandora anymore, you can select the “I’m bored” option and it won’t play it again for a month.

Yes, after I purchase a certain amount of songs, I receive a link with multiple recommendations of songs that I might like based off of my past purchases.

^^ I’ll try later, thanks.

Where is this link?

Are you in iTunes’ store?

If you scroll down past the music title then there should be a title that states “Genius Recommendations.” Sometimes I have to click on one of the top chart singles and then go back in order for it to appear. Click on “see all.” Once you do that you should see a list of songs and then a button that allows you to view more. Above that list there will be different CDs that are recommended based off of some of the past songs that you have purchased. There is also a genre button that you can press to identify a specific genre. iTunes will then recommend songs associated with that particular genre.

Oh. That’s what that is. I will try that later as well. +.5

I think I am going to go with the straight A’s objective this 9 weeks! I would like to get ahead this weekend. What day should I start getting ahead? Saturday or Sunday? (I want to start doing homework the night it is assigned and not the night before due). I have to do about two hours of physics and an hour of composition. How do I manage time better???

Well, you can block CC lol
