The Official "I Procrastinated" Thread

Misery loves company, right? Less than a week 'til the SAT II's, and how much studying have I done? Zilch. I thought it would be fun to perpetuate procrastination by creating a game. Hopefully I'm not the only one who procrastinated! :-P

You play by answering the following questions. . .
1) "I procrastinated because. . ."
2) "I'm taking ______ as my subject test(s)"
3) "________ is going to kick my butt next Saturday because. . ."
4) "I'm doing _______ to study."

I'll start.

1) I procrastinated because I think standardized tests have a BS factor to them. Admittedly, I'm someone who would be described as "naturally smart," as I never have to really study for much (bad, I know.) I have also been busy with work to help my family (especially my mom) out.

2) I'm taking Literature, US History, and Biology/E

3) Bio/E is going to kick my butt because I haven't had the class in two years, and I've studied for it minimally. I did well in APUSH and Literature/reading comes easy, so i'm not AS worried for those.

4) I'm going to read Crash Course for US History, and Kaplan for USH and Bio. Like I said above, USH and Literature will be review while Bio/E will be straight up intense study. I've been told that my memory is good, so hopefully I'll be able to get the job done. If not, I'll use the typical "I'll study during the summer" excuse.

Go!

I procrastinated because I procrastinate on everything. Seriously, it’s really bad. My gpa would be a lot higher if I procrastinated less, and I am constantly regretting it. And I procrastinated because I’m finding it really hard to study for the chem SAT II.

I’m taking chem and literature

I’ve done some studying ,but not nearly enough.

I’m using princeton review for chem ,and kaplan for lit

1) I procrastinated because I was studying for AP tests the last month.
2) I’m taking Bio M, US history, and Math 2 as my subject tests.
3) Math 2 is going to kick my butt on Saturday b/c I get really nervous and forget really simple ways to do problems. Also, I’ve practiced this one the least.
4) I’m using Barron’s for Bio which I just finished, took lots of notes on it. SparkNotes for US, just a straight read through, and then review of 20th century the night before. And for math I’m going through trig b/c it’s my weakest area. Probably just do as many practice tests as possible instead of reading the Barron’s book.

1) I procrastinated because I couldn’t be bothered not to.
2) “I’m taking Math I, US History and Chemistry as my subject tests.”
3) “Chemistry is going to kick my butt next Saturday because I haven’t reviewed much at all.”
4) “I’m doing practice tests, lots of practice tests from now to Friday to study.”

1) “I procrastinated because I have been busy studying for AP/IB exams and am a graduating senior and do not feel in the mood to take anymore standardized tests!”
2) “I’m taking Biology and US History as my subject tests.”
3) “Biology is going to kick my butt next Saturday because I fail at Biology and am running out of time studying.”
4) “I’m reading Barron’s and PR for Biology and Spark Notes and Crash Course for US History to study.”

I procrastinated because I was busy with the AP Bio exam. I thought I had plenty of time to study but somehow it narrowed down to only a week. My teachers just have no mercy on me when it comes to homework.

I’m taking biology (not sure E or M yet) and US history.

Biology is going to BADLY kick me in the butt because I haven’t looked at anything biology related since May 11.

Using Barrons 2008 AP Biology Exam and old 2001 version of Princeton Review and Barrons SAT Subject Test US History.

1) I procrastinated because I was living life. lol.
2) I’m taking US history, Math 2 and Math 1 as my subject tests.
3) US History might kick my but since I haven’t opened a book since the AP exam.
4) I’m using Barrons for Math 2 and I will start Amsco tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll finish it by saturday. ■■■.

1) “I procrastinated because studying puts me to sleep”
2) “I’m taking Math 2, US History as my subject test(s)”
3) “US History is going to kick my butt next Saturday because I have to rush in reading 700 pages”
4) “I’m doing Amsco, Crash Course for US History and Princeton’s L1/L2 Math to study.”

lol, yeah. Like a lot of people I have been busy with the end of the school year. I also just procrastinate on everything. :-P

1) I procrastinated because
a - Laziness
b - School’s end-of-year busy work

2) I’m taking ______ as my subject tests
a - Chemistry
b - Math2c

3) Chemistry is going to kick my butt next Saturday because
I haven’t looked at it since May 12th - AP Chemistry.

4) I’m doing _________ to study:
a - Chemistry: Barrons '08 book, read through, do the tests.
b - Math2C: Barrons '08 book, I’ve read 2outof3 chapters so far during class (Health is a joke), shouldn’t be a problem…

1) I procrastinated because of post-AP crash :p

2) I’m taking Physics and Biology as my subject tests

3) Biology is going to kick my butt next Saturday because I haven’t done anything after APs and I procrastinated on that too :p

4) I’m doing
Physics: PR, Barron’s
Biology: Barron’s
to study

good luck! :p

1) I procrastinated because I always procrastinate and because of AP tests and single/group projects that crop up en masse around this time of year.
2) I’m taking Physics and US History as my subject tests.
3) Both are going to kick my butt next Saturday because I haven’t studied optics at all and because I don’t care about US History any more.
4) I’m doing minimal work to study, most likely some test-prep book for Physics (which I have yet to buy). I might skim through my PR APUSH book and class notes/stuff for US H if I have extra time, but physics is a lot more pressing right now >_>.

Woohoo! Procrastination is so much fun.

1) Too lazy, lol
2) USH and BIO M
3) Both are just review from the AP tests, but I’ve barely touched the material since may 8-11. I deeply regret not taking them in May when it was still fresh, lol.
4) I’ve got Princeton Review for Bio and I’ve got Kaplan for USH. I’ll also be looking at online sparknotes tests.

1) I procrastinated b/c I have an IB Chem final in … 4 hours (LOL) and a bio final the next day and I’ve been busy all month. (IB, AP exams, banquets, award ceremonies, tests, finishing up work, etc.)
2) USH, Math II, Bio-E. Pretty much doomed.
3) Bio-E will kick my arse because I don’t know anything about organismal biology, and I never learned molecular (failed that part of the class’s tests)… USH will hurt me because I’ve always been bad at memorizing facts, and I have a feeling pre-calc/trig stuff will hurt in Math II.
4) After my bio final Tuesday, I will be reading AMSCO for US, Barrons SAT for US, Barrons SAT for Math II, and Barrons and McGraw for Bio. And hope that’s enough!

Lol. Well thank god there are procrastinators to keep me company.

1) I procrastinated because I didn’t feel like studying again after the AP tests. Also, I thought I was too brilliant for studying. Biology practice test proved me wrong with a 640.
2) I’m taking bio and U.S. history too.
3) Biology is going to kick my ass because there’s too damn much information.
4) I’m cramming all week with Kaplan books.

1) I procrastinated because I have no focus and my mind wanders a lot. Throw that on top of thinking that the AP test I took ~3 weeks ago was more than enough prep for this test. Practice test scores proved otherwise.

2) I’m taking US History as my subject test

3) US History is going to kick my butt next Saturday because I didn’t bother to study.

4) I’m trying to attempt to make myself read Kaplan and CC to study.

1) I procrastinated because the school year ended and I didn’t feel like doing anything last week.
2) Im taking US history and Math 2
3) Math 2 is going to kick my butt because I never really liked pre-calc and slept through that class
4) I’m re-reading my old math textbook to study.

1) I procrastinated because school is ridiculous and I am tired.
2) I’m taking World History as of ten minutes ago. I was planning to take Chem, but I took a practice test last night and did terribly. So today I tried World History even though I’ve only ever taken Modern World and that was last year, but I still did much better.
3) World History is going to kick my butt next Saturday because I’ve never learned history pre-1400 or so. Good…
4) I’m going to buy a book right now and read all the early chapters, since I know 17th-21st century quite well.

1] I procrastinated because I’m certain that no amount of study will help. I’m a lost cause.
2] I’m taking Biology M, US History, and Math 1.
3] Math 1 is going to kick my butt since the IB Math exam crushed all of my confidence regarding math
4] I’m looking at past threads about the tests I’m taking, hoping to become inspired to then study.

ISellHope: You are the same as me with the subject except for Math 1. If you’re in IB math, shouldn’t you take Math 2??
