85.9 for 1.5 radians
I think I might have gotten (8,12), NOT (12,18) OR (6.9) as two other people said
f(3)-F(1): I got 6

The judges and scores had to be 5 judges because since two people received whole number scores from each judge from 1-10 and their average scores were 5.4 and 6, you just had to plug and chug by multiplying 5.4 and 6 by the options provided to see which created whole numbers. The smallest option, 3, results in 16.2 and 18. The second smallest, 5, results in 27 and 30. Since each judge could only give whole number scores, 5 (B) was the correct answer.

@mssteiny Well if you think of the slope of both as two similar right triangles, you would actually just multiply the hypotenuse by 2.

Was the second coordinate that they gave you in that one (4,6)?

Guys is it possible curve -9 )) ?

was 48- D

and 50 - C ?

min number of judges: 5
There was a period question and a word problem with boys and girls.

f(2)=4
f(3)=8
using logic with the formula, you can reason that f(0)=1 and f(1)=2. so the answer was 6.

as for the coordinate, maybe it was some other point that I forgot. But I narrowed it down to two options that maintained the line’s slope and selected the one farther away that double double the distance.

for f(3)-f(1), that’s equal to 6.

and the coordinates of the extended line were (8,12)

Were there any that had the right distance BUT not the right slope?

@Lanayru :
was the graph supposed to be inverse or reciprocal?

was the one w/ the period sin(2theta) ?
and the boys and girls one was: b=2(g-10)

The boy and girl problem was just b = 2(g-10)
@ash I got sin(2theta) as well

@haters:
f(n)=f(n+1)/2, f(2)=4. Find f(3)-f(1).

@STEVE1
I think A was (2,3) and B was (4,6), AB:BC=1:2.

was the answer for that one 2sintheta or sin2theta

sin 2 x

because it has period pi

Okay. I just plugged in the 2nd point and all the answer choices into the distance formula but never checked slope. Were there any that had the same distance but not the same slope?

can someone explain the 2+1/n one? because I put 2+ (1/n(n-1))

so the arc length was sin2x not 2sinx

no i am not answering chord question…
