^ You mean excel in Trolling? :P

Thanks guys… Hope you guys get accepted to your dream schools

ofcourse :P

LOL, these forums can be funny. Now I want to be a teddy bear and ask Mr. Hassaniman that if he’s lived in three different countries and is currently in NJ (I’ve subscribed to the Princeton thread dude) then how come he’s a ‘looser’ and not a ‘loser’…
Hey, I can spell that word and I still get a 2260 on the SAT when he gets 2275 -_- NO FAIR!

Jokes aside, had my Princeton interview yesterday. Like the previous one, it was wierd. This time, cuz my interviewer won’t stop talking, and I actually had to cut him in to make a point. Either way, I had fun and I have this slight feeling he did too. I mean he’s a lawyer, must enjoy debates and stuff…:P

Anyways, I just found out that internationals DO get likely letters. So, once upon a time I felt I’d accepted the fact that there’s 0.5% chance of admission for me and now I’m checking the mail everyday =D

sigh 3 years hassaniman. Take my advice, and stop dwelling over a 2275 SAT score, too much to do for you to waste time on that ;)

Hey leo18
You see, all I’m trying to do is get some honest opinions from you guys on my chances for Princeton. And FYI the reason why my typing is so bad is that I use my IPod. Thanks for the input though. What do you think I should do in the next few years though? Thanks

With a 2275, have you thought about majoring in Atentiary@Penn? I have heard Penn “Atentiary” is really good for guys with such high scores.

First of, why do you guys keep underestimating a freshman? I came here for advice, not to waste my time. perazziman, thanks for the input though. I will certainly heed it, but I’d like to say that theres no such thing as Penn “Atentiary”. Please guys, help me out. You guys may be seniors (I dont know) but still, help me out you know. I’m sorry if i make minor mistakes. Thanks!

Hey usmaniwatia, I sent you a message.
I also sent perraziman a message.
Read it guys and reply.
Thanks

@Hassaniman: You got a 2275 SAT score and you can’t even get perazziman’s joke? You’re sad. “Penitentiary” means prison, and with a 785 in CR, you should be smart enough to know what that word means. lol.

Ok Hassinaman, since I’m such a…umm ‘vulnerable’ idiot, I’m going to assume you’re a freshman who badly wants to get into a big US school, so much so you’re faking your own SAT score…by adding or reducing 5 points, am still not sure.

So here’s the thing, if you haven’t noticed in all the gazillions of chance threads that exist on CC, the bottomline is- there is NO hard and fast formula. There is NOTHING that can guarantee admission, not even the so-called ‘hooks’…this process is really random.

So my advice (and it is completely unoriginal cuz technically I’ve learnt most of it from others, but I can swear by it) to you or any other desperado reading this thread is- maintain good grades, find your focus, participate in anything and everything that you can find to you (though it shud be clear you’ve got a focus- like a talent, or hobby), try to excel in whatever you do…and enjoy the experience (it’ll help if you’re rejected :))

But one last thing- Find a REASON to go through all this crap, because seriously, the desire to see the word ‘Princeton’ in your CV ain’t motivation enough, and if there’s anything I can guarantee- the admissions officers can probably see right through it. There’s no fooling around, especially not with yourself. Be objective, and strategic, and honest, and most of all- be true to yourself.

Aaah, I’ve officially become a ‘CC counselor’. YIKES, no wonder they say don’t trust 'em :P

One thing that is very important to all ivy league and other top schools is good character.

second that, perazziman =D

Now that’s what I’m talking about!!! Thanks guys… BTW, why don’t ya guys just agree to the fact that I got a 2275??? Any summer programs I can join in NJ though? Thanks guys.

What do you think is going to happen to the people who knew what this guy was doing, but continued to deal with him like he was normal:

you must be a genius or the collegeboard might have been impressed by you so much that they changed the way they gave points and gave you a 2275 :P

LOL…
Its appalling that its happening in the Pakistani thread…
hahaha XD

Well anyways, time for some fresh controversy. I recently heard that expatriates of a certain country are a greater disadvantage in the US admissions process than nationals…true or false?

Not that it matters anymore, but its just one of those bizarre things I’m hearing now that are getting me a bit more nervous than I already am…

Really???

Hassaniman I think you’re not getting it! Sat scores can only be multiples of ten, meaning 1650 1700 2270 2340 … But they can never end with a 5 or any other digit! Jeeeez. A genius, you are.

^ If you just stop trying to correct this guy, that might help cos everytime you tell him something, its like banging your head against a concrete wall.
Plus hassaniman what makes you think my opinion might matter or help that you sent a pm asking for my help. I don’t have any authority or rather I’d say authenticity in my words that you might consider asking me about your chances or anything of that sort.

hahahahahaha @Rme123, you just gave it away… wonder how can someone who has given SAT not know the scoring pattern…

@hassaninam, what a genius you are…LMAO
