^^LOL. Oh well I guess I gave it a shot cuz I didn’t read the rest of the thread.

LOL Arsalh :P

You know what… Let me go check my scores online and tell you guys again!!!

If his real SAT score is 2280 or 2270, all the respect that i have for this exam will be over… coz some say SAT tests your thinking ability tooo :D

@hassaninam yes you really should do that :stuck_out_tongue:
p.s. we woud love a screen shot :D

Yes. That’s all it tests. I can’t believe my sat was so much lower than his. I must be really dumb, though I am a straight As student :/

***!!!
I have lost all my respect…
Guys forgive me… You were right all along… My SAT scores were a 2270… I would love to give a screenshot but I’m on my computer… I’ll give screen shot when on my iPod touch.
SORRYYYYYYYY…

@hassaninam really? was it SAT? are you sure it was College Board’s SAT :D?

hahaha no probs man… on the good side, you allowed us to make a bit of fun
i’m pretty sure you wont ever forget how SAT is scored now :D

@rme123 SAT is so cruel… dont really get this weird test :D

Again guys, my bad… I took the SAT months ago and couldn’t recall my scores… Btw to answer the question on why I got a 2270, the reason is simple… I prepared for the test by studying O level books from singapore… Go to popular.com.sg and type in Casco tutor from secondary 1-4. I’m also gonna take an SAT II test in physics and math by the end of this year… Again, I prepared for it from my O level physics book from Singapore. So yeah, I didnt prepare for it from the official SAT prep books from college board.

The benefits of having lived in Singapore…

But I spent like $250 for importing the books from Singapore. But the books will last me from Freshman year all the way through college freshman year. And the books are what students from the top secondary school in Singapore study from, Raffles instituition. It is like a feeder school to ivy league… Nearly 40 percent of those who apply get into HYP… There’s also a Yale NUS school there. Go and search yale-NUS in the search bar above.
Also, I lived in SG for like 13 years so I had a good solid base which helped in SAT.

LOL…can we forgive the guy already? :P

But seriously hassaniman, first you don’t pick up our crystal clear signals, and next you rub your priveleged background and ‘top Singaporean’ school in our face…what’s your angle? :S

Nowadays I just log onto CC to read the drama on this thread LOL XD Better alternative to shudders Humsafar :P

i dont even feel like studying for A Levels now… early decision is so cool :D

Is anyone here applying to UIUC?

UIUC and Michigan are both great schools, but I do not think they offer much aid to out of state students, leave alone foreign students. My S will probably apply to UT and A&M, since we live in TX. A&M offers great merit scholarships to Texans and out of state students, but not often to internationals. However, it is possible, to get substantial discounts from TX universities, so don’t dismiss them automatically.

where did you get accepted at arsalh?

LOL@ Arsalh. Yeah where did you get accepted?

BTW…anyone else late on their financial aid deadlines? :P

He got accepted at Union College (NY).

If 3.95/4 is weighed gpa, then what’s the unweighed gpa?
