I’m gonna be rejected or waitlisted at the rest too, I’m sure. I really really liked Union.
Oh well, I’ll just study in Pakistan now. And maybe go to the US for post grad.</p>

I read on Union’s FAQ thing that financial resources are usually exhausted by May 1.
Cried a little but I’m fine now. It’s ok to study in Pakistan. I guess.

<p>It was stupid for most of us here to apply. You can tell that by the rejections and Waitlists. However we all have a right to give it our best shot and hope for the best.</p>

<p>Hey guys, I’m from the Indian thread.</p>
<p>Looking at this thread, it just seems so lifeless and melancholy. I know the rejections and waitlists are pouring in but I wanted to let you guys know that you guys are going to make a future for yourselves no matter where you will end up going. I promise you that. Colleges? Sure they’re a big big part. But its what YOU make of it no matter where you go, in Pakistan and here.</p>
<p>And there’s still the big day remaining, the 29th. An ivy acceptance may seem unlikely for current rejectees or waitlists but you would be surprised at how random these things are (for example I got a Stanford likely but got waitlisted by UChicago). Some of you WILL get admitted.</p>
<p>So, from the Indian thread, cheer up friends across the border. And don’t worry. We’re there with you, every step of the way.</p>
