last a year a guy who stood third in it,got into Harvard.Though that 3rd position in the psifi wasn’t the best thing on his application.He had many other salient achievements.</p>

<p>@bluelove: It doesn’t count too much, although it does help, because the top American colleges have pretty high standards, so they look for international rather than national achievements. Even if you do win something in Psifi, it helps but it doesn’t completely change your application.</p>
<p>@Suhail: Yeah, seeing that my team won Tour de Mind in 2011 and Math Gauge in 2012, I wish it counted alot too. Oh well.</p>

<p>Got a scholarship of $35,500 per year from Worcester Polytechnic Institute! This is only merit based scholarship. I might get need based financial aid too, in two weeks. </p>
