The Official PSAT For Saturday October 21, 2006

i remember it being B, but that's a very vague recollection....lol what does it matter?

If I got 3 wrong in math, but one of them I ommitted, and another one was a grid-in, would I still get a score in the 70s?

for the biographies, both thought that the writer (Schyman or something like that??) was unusually talented in writing

one answer i think was that biographies were very popular during that period...

well it matters because i marked it with a ?, and went back to it with a minute left, and i remember i couldnt decide between 30 and another number and i chose one of them, and all i remember was that it was d

jondabomb, if the answers were in order from lowest to highest, I remember the answer choices as being A)3, B)12, so C) was probably 30.

I remember that C was 30.
I could be wrong.

didn't both authors believe that the writer began a new biography standard? i don't really remember the choices any more

both talented is clearly wrong

its new standard

Yeah I don't think it's talented because in the first passage, the author didn't really say the guy was talented. The author seemed to somewhat contemptuously talk about the guy, criticizing his credibility.

No, at the end of the first passage it said he brought back a certain liveliness to British biography. I think that is saying he has talent.

I don't even remember what I put for that one. :)

Man, I need to talk to my super-smart friend and ask her what she put for all of these I'm unsure of... I'd call her, but I just have too much freaking homework to spare the time :(

there are seriously about 10 that i thought i knew for sure but now looking at this thread....im not so sure anymore!!! haha, i need to stop reading this

trust me just because it brought back liveliness doesnt mean hes talented

dont try to overthink it lol

it is clear they both establish a new standard

thats what i put..new standard, it was in both passages

on the triangle side lengths did it ask for an integer

Why can't the euphemism one be exaggeration?

The homami one, is it humility or esteem or what?

"If the horizontal and vertical crosses add up to the same thing then x=1"

This is from the compiled list of math problems. Which question is this?

On the chimp question was it hitting the flies with sticks?

what would my math be if i got 1 wrong no omitted?
and what would it be if i got 2 wrong no ommited?
just some estimates, thanks
