well by looking at the sentence the way you put it, i think you are right. so did you get 2 no errors in a row? because i had 3 initially but now i realize that this one was wrong

I got only one no error. What were the two that you put no error for?

the recession one as well as the bronte one...

If the horizontal and vertical crosses add up to the same thing then x=1 ??????? What was this question

i put no error for the stock crash, for the healthy/athletic, and one more that i dont remember

one person said that the stock crash one was wrong because they hadn't "suffered through" but "suffered from" but im not so sure about that.

and the other no error that i dont remember may be the no error you chose.

The other one was the one about Bronte. That's the one I got no error for.

I remember something being wrong about the stock crash. Do you remember how the sentence was at all?

Oooooooooh never mind...I remember that one.

"The recession was equal, if not worse than ..... "

It should be equal TO...so the error is "equal."

does anyone know of any sites that will eventually post the complete test with correct answers and(not necessary) a scoring chart

I dont think i can wait till december to find out

oh yeah, you're right, i did put equal wrong in the recession one; it was the wimbledon one that i put the no error for, along with the bronte one.

and no john, i doubt any site would put up the test before december... :(

could someone type out what they remember of the bronte one because i dont remember it at all, i also dont remember the wimbledon one so if you could try to type that one out to that would be awesome

The Wimbledon question was something like this:

The atmosphere at this tennis tournament was like Wimbledon.

That is the basic gist of it. The error is "Wimbledon. "This is an error in comparing the atmosphere to Wimbledon. It should be...

The atmosphere at this tennis tournament was like the atmosphere at Wimbledon.

oh yea, it's kinda funny how eventually you just naturally pick up on these errors, so you just fly through them and dont remember them at all.

so how many do u think we can get wrong in CR to get 70?
what about 80?

but the bronte one i still don't remember, so could someone try to type it for me

"Although she was an writer as well as an artist, Bronte was best known for her artwork."

I think it was something like that.

harvard2727: I don't know about this test's curve, but according to the CB practice PSAT, you need -0 for an 80, and -4 for a 71. -5 is a 69.

mrniceguy, I also got only one no error (Bronte)-- it seems like the two of us were the only ones, though >_>

What about the error one where one of the choices was "until when"? Does anyone remember what the error was on that one? I think the sentence involved a mayor and laws or something like that.

If the horizontal and vertical crosses add up to the same thing then x=1 ??????? What was this question

and also was it 9/27 or 8/27

Anyone remember the one about the other writer?

It was like "He is known for both his songs and his arrangements of other peices."

I think that was no error, but I thought both sounded like it was modifying just his songs, so I chose the option that was "he is known both for his songs and his arranging of other peices."

Also, do you guys think the curve will be similar to that of the practice test?

Would -4 on CR be in the 70s?
Do you think -2 on W will still be possibly an 80?
