Can anyone give me an opinion on this? A search hasn't turned up any reviews on whether this is good or bad. Thank you

To me, it is really good and it helps a lot.

I recommend the Official SAT Online Course to all my students. It has 10 additional practice tests that do not overlap with the Official SAT Study Guide. Only the pretest is identical to the Official Practice Test that can be downloaded for free from the Collegeboard’s website.

Other than that there are an additional 12 quizzes divided by different categories for the Math section for a total of an additional 216 questions. You can take these to test your subject matter understanding by topics.

I would recommend printing out the tests and then practicing them just like a real SAT. Yes, it is expensive to print out all the tests, but the only other option is to display them on the computer screen, which is not ideal.

To save money buy the test via amazon($44 vs $70) as opposed to directly from Collegeboard.

Or better yet, check with your school if they have free access to the course. It is also free in the following states: Idaho, Delaware, Maine, and Georgia, and perhaps others too.

Best wishes.

I think it’s a good resource because it’s the only other source of practice tests made by college board. Good for when you’ve exhausted your supply of blue book tests.

Thank you very much for the replies. I am definitely going to get it now.

Question: does this on line course, together with the official sat bluebook provide sufficient preparation for the test, or does one need to take a live class and/or hire tutor anyway?
