<p>@amputee Hey amputee! I’m applying to EECS as well. What pre-reqs are you missing? and is your major gpa higher than your overall gpa? they really only care about the gpa from the pre-reqs since IGETC doesn’t apply for EECS.</p>
<p>I wish berkeley had an alternate major option… I would be fine going to Berkeley for just CS, but I would prefer EECS.</p>
<p>But EECS is super competitive.</p>

<p>@amputee I know someone that got in last year missing differential equations so it is not make or break for an application. A 3.72 GPA is borderline but is not unheard of for EECS. Don’t lose hope! And if you don’t get in go to UCSD! They have a great CS program. Just out of curiosity are you at all interested in the EE side of things? or just CS?</p>
