so it's a one time send out letters thing? or is it on a rolling basis?

i got mine too!!! so when are you all planning to go for the interviews?

second lesmislove.

if you havent gotten one yet, is there still a chance you can get one? are they still rolling them out or was 28th the last, done deal? and i live in the socal!!! this is so weird...

if you get rejected, youre still supposed to get SOMETHING right??? now im really nervous! =[

yes they send rejection letters.
i dont know if it's on a rolling basis though

Any advice or anything from someone who went to the interviews last year?

How was it? What questions? Was it relaxed or very probing and difficult? Informal, nice conversation or really formal? Who interviewed? (;

LOL this is my cry for help ):

okay, guess it's a one time thing. got my rejection letter today.
=[

Rejected..........damn

rejected lol...not expecting much anyways ...

I haven't gotten anything unless my parents are keeping mail from me. My dad had an odd look on his face but yeah don't think I received anything as of yet.

I did get a letter from UofMiami saying I got $24k and that I'm a finalist for the Singer scholarship, so I'll have to take that into consideration even though they didn't give an interview for the med program.

Just curious, but what did everyone write about in their 2nd essay?

I figure there shouldn't be much of an issue with sharing now that we're way past that point...

I did the journalist essay and I chose assisted suicide.

I bsed my essay about genetic engineering the night before, lol.

Relax( to those of us still waiting)!!! No Mail On Sundays!!! :)

i still havent gotten anything...did you guys get an email confirmation or something when you turned your applications in that everything had been received? i live in socal and no word yet!!! whats going on? so does that mean im basically rejected? wow...shot down before even being shot down...

Ahhhhh congrats to everyone who has received an interview so far! I strongly urge you all to stay overnight during the interview process because it gives you a little bit of a better peek into like at USC and life of a Bacc/MD.

Quadomatic, I'm from the city and it took a full week from the postmark date for them to get me my interview letter and my acceptance letter.

Best of luck to everyone who has yet to hear from the program!

were you supposed to send them by both mail and online or just one of the two?

i sent everything by mail in one envelope. (?)

So how do we tell them that we will stay overnight? Will more information about the BA/MD interview day be given after we place a call reserving our spot? I hope so because I feel kinda lost on the whole procedure thing right now...

rejected. ah, well, this is really really disappointing. i was really hoping i would have the honor of interviewing, but oh well. if you havent gotten a letter yet, dont hope for much. i think all of acceptances were sent out, like someone said. :(

When you call the College to confirm your interview date or fax them the form, they will ask you if you wish to stay overnight, and whether you prefer the day before or after. I recommend waiting until seeing if you're up for any scholarships to make sure the dates coincide.

Do you have to get a letter saying you're admitted to USC, before you get an invitation for a BMD interview? In other words, can you not have stellar stats but still have a chance for BMD?

Haha I live in Southern California, so it's better for me that my two dates don't coincide. And I guess I'll stay overnight just to be able to meet a student in the program and talk to them about it and everything. Do they have a specified time we leave or program or anything for the day after BA/MD interview?
