Welcome, Nomad! That USC app sounds like a killer. And our prospective majors are similar; I'm interested in English/writing, but I don't know if I want to go into journalism or creative writing or something else.

Um, I'm out of things to say about USC/UCLA. Let's talk about something else. Like snow! It snowed in NY today, which was awesome. I'm psyched to go skiing, to go sledding, to have a snow day...

It never snows here in San Francisco. I said that I look forward to the weather in my interview and my alumni's jaw practically dropped. "You know, I've done interviews for many, many students over many years and NONE of them have said that they like the weather. They usually say they like everything BUT the weather."

I just chucked and said something to the effect of, "One in ten, right?" (His question from before told me that Yale admits at a rate of about 9% which is close enough to 1 in 10. What attributes do I have that differ me from the rest of the pack.)

hahah yeah im one of the few from new england who actually LIKE the snow... im sure i wont be so fond of it once i have to be hiking around campus after a noreaster though

Poetry, rain dancin'.... Jeez, I'd do anything!
And yes, the wait will be torture.
Meanwhile, here I am, jazz band concert on Friday, finals' week approaching, and completing applications to abuncha other silly colleges. I hate to sound neurotic, but it's NOT doing much for my stress levels. -.-
