Ditto. When I was a kid, I would bake in the sun in the summer until the skin would peel in large sheets off my back and arms. Ewww… In my 20s and 30s, I used to commute south and back for school and then for work, so my face does have some dark spots on the left side… I am much smarter now. Use this on my face with any cream and not worry if that cream has SPF or not.
That is horrifying!

My nightly routine, i wash with L’oreal Brightening Daily Scrub Cleanser, Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Eyeswirl, and then L’oreal age perfect Hydra Nutrition. 2x a week I do RetinA, and no other products on those days.
@TS0104 I was recommended the nasal oil from my ENT. I had serious sinus issues and had surgery with this ENT a couple of years ago. My nasal passages are seriously dry beyond what saline can help with so she recommended what astronauts use lol. It’s been a miracle for me AND my mother who was suffering from repeated vestibulititis of the nose. You take a q tip dip each end (one for each nostil) then rub the oil up inside to coat. It takes a bit to get used to but it has been life changing for me. I had a coating inside my nose that made it hard to breath for months that was dry gross stuff built up over time. Here is the link on Amazon. My ENT confirmed you can purchase this on Amazon it is not a prescription.

Sometimes I wash my face at night, but only with water. I always floss and brush, then use eyedrops that contain mineral oil, since my eyes are so dry overnight. Wash my face with baby shampoo in the morning, then unscented Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion.
Fun thread and I enjoy hearing about what people use on their skin. I look much better with foundation as my skin looks so much more smooth and even with it on.
I wash my face at night to remove my makeup and in the morning (cerave). I use Timeless Vitamin C with Ferulic Acid each morning along with sunscreen. I’ve also been trying hyaluronic acid but don’t think I’m seeing or feeling a difference so I’ll probably stop when I’m done with the bottle.
I used hydroquinone cream (rx) for about 9 months but noticed no difference so stopped. I do use Retin A which I’ve found least expensively through good rx but, I’d love to hear what Canadian pharmacies are inexpensive and reputable in case I can save some money.
Many lotions cause me to get tiny whiteheads (?) around my mouth so I’m still searching for the right one. Otherwise, not only do I floss every night but I also use those dental picks. My routine doesn’t take too long but it definitely takes longer than when I was younger.
My RetinA from the dermatologist is about $70 and lasts about 6 months.

I’ve never been hairy and even in my 20’s and 30’s, I shaved my underarms maybe twice a month and my legs twice a year, in the summer. I hate the hairy leg look, but I just didn’t have much. Since menopause, my underarms and legs are hairless but my upper lip and chin are not.
I noticed that some other writers use Cetaphil as I do. I should add that I was originally told to use for my now 23 year old son, who had eczema. It helped a lot. When he had an outbreak recently, I got him a container for himself and his face looks less red and blotchy.
My favorite body lotion is by far Aveeno. As I’ve aged the skin on my arms and legs (especially around the knees) has gotten dryer. The Aveeno absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. It’s also what I use on my face if I’m going to be in an airplane for any length of time. My regular facial moisturizers don’t seem to hold up in that low humidity.
