There is ONE Asian in my school. Two Americans, Three German...that's it.

We don't have too many Asians in terms of Chinese/Japanese/Vietnamese/Korean/etc (although my best friend is one of the few!) but my school is nearly half Arabic. My friend's Chinese and we're always joking (good-natured; nothing meant to offend of course) about how her being Asian makes her cooler than the rest of us.

And her parents own a restaurant. She brought fried rice to school for lunch on my birthday. :)

I'm one of two asians- and my school has one black person and no hispanic people. Kind of sad...

Our school has no Hispanics either. :(

I've been friends with, let's see...6 Caucasian friends (not counting teachers LOL) from school 3rd grade to 9th grade.
It's messed up how neither me nor my current classmates consider ourselves discriminating, there's still an emotional barrier, I guess. In this part of the world, at least. Or maybe it's just cuz I haven't grown up with these kids.

My school has 2000 asians ( over 4000 kids total). Then again, i live in queens ny, the most diverse place in the U.S if not in the world.
