If I had the figure to carry off that stunning dress, I definitely would have needed some kind of hose. (I’m not one who would have the talent and patience to use leg makeup. But even if I were, it would not help so much on my vericose veins…. sadly more prominent in recent years with weight loss and aging.)

Not a look I could pull off, but the walk-thru jumpsuit/dress is one way to avoid the pantyhose decision. (though same could be said of a long dress).
Love those colors. But I can’t imagine how one goes to the ladies room in that.

I just took this picture of my 33 yr old daughter as she is leaving for dinner with colleagues because I thought of this thread.
I say thumbs up for pantyhose with this outfit.

Yes, I also say thumbs up. But really I don’t think that black hose were ever ostracized in fashion that way that nude hose were.
Watching the evening news, the young weather forecaster had a short dress… and I am pretty sure she was wearing sheer nude hose. It looked nice on her.
