When I read the preview pdf, the format of some parts just go crazy, e.g: non-uniform fonts (i.e: in some parts it is really big, while small in others), my answer to #13 even goes off the page(!), etc...
I wonder in what format the Adcom will read my Part 2. Is it the same as the pdf, or in better presentation?

I don't think it would matter because they know you submitted it online so any formatting problems wouldn't be your fault.

I noticed my font wasn't all uniform too. I really just think they want to read the application, and could care less about the formatting. :)

paper apps all the way :D

They purposely make the font size non-uniform. If your answer to a given field is long, the font size will be smaller so that your answer can fit into the space provided.

I read somewhere on mymit that the app will be read as you see it. I don't think they care much about presentation, only content matters. By the way, I don't see anything ugly about the format of the online app. From my exp filling out online apps to 10 different colleges, MIT has the best online app interface and pdf layout!

I don't think they care about the font size, once you don't put 200 words into a 20 word space so as to make it unreadable.

Well, I think it is okay with the font.
But the most disgusting problem is: My 800-word essay for Question 13 is formatted off the page!!! Only 600 words are shown!
They did give instructions like "not to exceed 1000 words", so why does it turn out like that? Should I send a printed copy of that essay via post?

Whoa... that is terrible. I don't know why it happens to you; every word in my essay is shown alright. Yeah, maybe you should it by mail, but also make a little note in that space on the online app telling them of the problem and that you're mailing the essay in.
