<p>My son just told me that one of the administrators on the Class of 2018 FB page posted that DH awards will be sent out this coming week. Don’t know about Paul Tulane.</p>

<p>Not sure why the notifications are going out later this year than in years past but I know a lot of kids (and parents) are anxiously awaiting the letters. For a lot of students this is the only way they can attend and the applicants are all great students so it is hard to make any guess on if you will get one or not.</p>
<p>Alright fingers crossed that this week=Monday. </p>
<p>As I mentioned earlier, Tulane shut down for 2 or 3 days because of the ice and cold. That might have set them back. Also they may be trying something new to better coordinate the DHS and PTA, as well as deciding who is going to be selected as Stamps finalists. Remember, this is only the second year for the PTA and the first for the Stamps, so there may be new wrinkles they have to work through. And of course finally, there is never an actual published date they say they will make the announcements, just past history. So while we do come to expect things to be as they have been before, Tulane really never says that. But for sure they know everyone that applied is anxious to find out one way or the other. You are so right that for many this is the difference in being able to afford Tulane or not, even if they got a $30,000 Presidential merit scholarship already.</p>
<p>I think they are being mailed out today. I have a UPS package delivery alert from Tulane University Admissions this morning. Delivery expected by end of day Monday. </p>

<p>I just want to be clear that the email I received was from UPS, not Tulane. UPS has a delivery notification service available to everyone. You sign up on their website. I have not received any official notification or communication from Tulane. Could be something else, I suppose.</p>

<p>I suppose it could be anything, but if they specifically told you it was coming from Tulane Admissions…But you are right, no sense in speculating when you will know for sure in about 24-30 hours.</p>

<p>After I was done, it indicated a package was en route to my daughter 2nd day air from Tulane.</p>
