I was wondering if these liberal arts colleges: Bowdoin, Claremont Mckenna,Colby, Colgate, Hamilton, Kenyon, Pitzer, Reed, and Wesleyan(CT) would be a good choice of study before attending law school. Would it be a big plus to attend any of these schools over Berkeley, UCLA, Emory, Notre Dame, and Wake Forest?

My opinion...

A small liberal arts college is a better choice than a large university --unless you are in the large U's close-knit honors programs. I'd rather be a person and learn from close contact with faculty, than a number learning from TA's. Again, it's just my opinion.

P.S. Bowdoin is supposed to have great cuisine :D

P.P.S. Personally, from the schools you mentioned (assuming you are accepted) I would go to Berkeley --Beware of the grade deflation, though. Or, if I was rather "alternative" go to Reed.

if you can stand out at a big university by taking the initiative to find the things you need, then berkeley/ucla might be the place for you. i believe in terms of raw numbers, berkeley and ucla both send way more students to top law schools than any of those LAC's.

I totally regret going to Berkeley! I agree, beware of rampant grade deflation in some large competitive universities coughBerkeleycough
