The Real ACT

I am reading the red book and when I got to the reading section (the sample questions, not the practice test), there were no sample questions, just passages. There were questions before the passage, but it seemed awkward they did not let me read the passages before, and the questions were out of place.

And for the PR book, it says on the cover 2 practice test in the book, and one online. How could I gain access to it?

And is the 1296 PR ACT practice book a good book? Is Barron's ACT book comparable to PR? And is there a way to gain access to official released test?

1296 PR ACT is an alright book though it does have errors. I wouldn’t say that it’s accurate but it sure beats Barron’s. Barron’s gives extraneous knowledge (something Barron’s is notorious for) and just isn’t accurate.

I would try looking at the Preparing for the ACT booklet (in your counselor’s office) and even try getting previous issues (just ask upperclassmen).

Barron’s gives equations for geometric series. Enough said.

I noticed that too in the red book… kinda confusing.
