recs: ap physics techer, eng teacher, counselor, field hockey coach. all love me. two are good but generic. two are good and specific.(the eng. teacher and counselor) eng. is prolly awesome, but i haven’t read it.

I think that’s it. Be as mean as you want to be. Seriously. I probably won’t cry, so it’s okay.
Thank you so much!!! !!

You're going to get a lot of criticism for posting that.

is it because he left "Tufts" in there? who cares if he's posting more or less the same message in several forums -- he wouldn't be the first on CC to do so.

I am sorry, but what is the point of panicking people. I just dont see why u wasted time.

dude are u mental or just being a dick cause i mean u know ur getting in with out a doubt i mean BU is like a safety for u so *** is ur malfunction

My point here, lolabelle ^.

I think a hyper-achiever is also a hyper-worrier. Probably applying to 20 schools and hoping to go to Harvard.

I wouldn't have asked if I was getting in if I thought BU was my safety. I applied to a state school as my safety. BU is an extremely selective school. I'm sorry if I offended anyone :(.

You're angry at me for copying and pasting?

No, no one is angry at you for copying and pasting.

That user, lolabelle, assumed that I was angry at you for copying and pasting. I simply warned you about how people on College Confidential get furious over students who ask about their chances at colleges they obviously have a great shot at.

You're an excellent student, and you're likely to be accepted by Boston University.

I have nothing against Tufts, lolabelle.

You'll get accepted with a decent shot at Merit aid. Make sure BU knows you are very interested. Which BU college? CAS?

engineering

If you are a national merit semi-finalist, I can say with some certainty you'll get merit aid, like $10k. The amount will be greater if you are a finalist, like half tuition.

you're in, username4321 - to BU and Tufts. i understand you're worried, but worry about other schools where perfect test scores/grades/essays/recs aren't enough.

The thing is, I didn't get national merit semi-finalist. I was a commended student. And there are A LOT of uber qualified kids applying to tufts and BU from my school. My major worry is Tufts, where I would absolutely LOVE to go. I'm worried that my "edge" over the other Tufts-ies from my school (my higher academic stats) won't help much. Ahhhh!

Of course they will! Grades matter most!
