Hi, I was accepted to UCSD for fall 12 as a UC-UC transfer student.
My cumulative GPA after Spring 12 was dropped to below 3.0 and I was freaking out a little bit. I've filed the academic change form to notified this condition. I retook some class in summer school to bring my GPA back up to above 3.0 and sent them the new transcript that includes the grade of summer 12.

My concern is, I haven't heard anything from the school since. No revocation notice, nor a confirmation of any sort. and the application website says that my transcripts have been validated and all requirements have been met. So what does that really mean? Am I still pending under review or am I already accepted?

If they haven’t sent you any notifications or warnings, you should still be accepted. But you can call and ask admissions so that you can know for sure.

@LAforlife,
I’ve called their admission office several times and have gotten a variety of responses, from “don’t worry about it, you’ll be fine” to “according to our website your acceptance will be revoked once we reviewed your official transcript” and my personal favorite so far: “we’ll send you an email in early august(this was from two days ago, mind you.)”
But yeah I feel like if my acceptance was to get revoked I would’ve gotten the notice a long time ago.

@Batllo:
I didn’t apply for housing at the village, but I did signed up for the transfer orientation two days ago. Oh and I’ve already gotten and accepted the financial aid, but I’m not sure if it means anything though.

Seriously?! I know SD and Irvine are kind of known for screwing up info, but that’s just crazy. When was the last time you called them and what did they say?

@ LAforlife:
On the 17th, that was when I got the “we’ll mail something to you” response
The thing is, I’ve already applied for the orientation with no problem and have printed out the confirmation page. Not to mentioned people have gotten their revocation notices as early as the beginning August ,if I’m not mistaken, so i honestly don’t know what’s going on.
