I’ve just finished applying and waiting for admissions decisions is stressful. IDK if this is the kind of thing your supposed to post on CC, I’m kinda new. But if you’re stressing out over waiting for admissions decisions to come out, just know that you’re not alone and its going to be okay! I believe in you! XD
*you’re
We are there with you. Even us parents are stressed out. Time moves so slowly…
It is worse if you have an RD thrown in. then you need to wait until April. Arggg.
The college my D wanted to go to the most was RD and the last to answer (but she got in.) She had EA and rolling decisions starting in October, so it really was a long wait to April 1.
I applied to 7 schools, mostly EA, and was finished with my apps by mid october. It’s agonizing to wait till december, I can’t imagine having to wait till April for everything. Being deferred to RD will be so stressful as well, though I’m sure it feels better to get deferred than rejected. I received my first decision (an acceptance, thank you universe) but will have to wait till mid to late december for the others.
Worrying will do you no good. Eat some ice cream and get a head start on the freshman 15.
