The Struggle Is Real

When a web page doesn’t load as fast as you want it to and you have to wait an extra ten seconds.

When Al Jazeera doesn’t work and you have to watch CNN

When you run out of storage on your phone because your parents would only buy you a 16 GB iPhone 5…

When you only get 15 minutes of free wifi (almost about to run out of time right now…)

Wide-ruled paper.

Those teachers who say you can’t use mechanical pencils on multiple choice tests.

When the stick of lead in your mechanical pencil is too short and it goes up into the pencil when you press down on the paper.

Running out of lead when you only have one pencil.

When the eraser of a mechanical pencil gets too small to be usable, and all the days before I realized that you don’t have to dig it out to get lead in the pencil…

When I forget my extra pen at home and my classmates get mad because they think it’s my obligation to always lend my pens for free.

When everyone asks you for a piece of gum

When you don’t have gum.

When teachers don’t post grades online immediately after a test.

When teachers don’t announce the grades after two weeks since test day.

When you use the toilet and there’s no toilet paper.

When you answer a very hard question, the teacher can’t hear you and then that classmate that barely knows his own name repeats it and gets credit for it.

When your phone dies every single time you’re out or on a trip and you have no charger. :expressionless:

When your computer crashes and you forgot to save an important document…

^ When Google Drive is blocked by school administration (seriously though, what the heck school administration?).

When your phone, laptop, and iPad are dead at the same time.
