Anyone like me scrambling to get done their summer homework before school starts? I haven't been on here in more than 3 months, but thought it was time to return

Right now I'm still in procrastination mode. I'm also waiting for my Art History and Physics teachers to actually give us their assignments for us.

I'm currently not:

-writing three college essay drafts due on August 25th to the college counseling office for review
-working on 2-d design pieces for AP Studio class
-reading the two books I have to read for AP Lit

I am! lol I made myself a nice reading schedule and everything, but I never followed it, and now I'm regretting it. But I've still got a little while before I go back.

I have a schedule. 5 ap english books to finnish by august 16th, just started monday. Plus ap chem review packet + ap gov essay. I start august 30th

Yeah, I'm in trouble, especially because I'm going to Europe for two weeks and won't be able to do any of this crap that I need to do.

I'll have three days to get my drafts in after I get back. I think I'll go an essay a day. I start school on September 6th, so I've got some time to do the other stuff.

I'm about to start reading 1984 because it seems more interesting than my assigned summer reading books.

This is what's so nice about being in college. Other than summer courses (I only took one), you actually get a summer. I was homeschooled for high school and did that year-round, so this is a nice break indeed. I actually had a summer vacation for once!

When do you all go back? My fall semester starts on August 26th, but my first class isn't until the 29th.

History terms to define and find place in history

Razor's Edge to read and add commentary

Vocabulary (pretty gay... but for the SAT)

School starts Aug. 15th.
Today is July 30th.

Am I screwed? Nuh uh. Not yet. ;)

Ugh, I've got to take extensive notes on Profiles in Courage and Decision in Philadelphia for my AP govt course next year.

I've got four weeks, give or take a few days, to finish. And I've got no willpower at all.

My school district actually made it illegal to give homeworks in the summer....so we dont have to anything....:)

I have to start my extended essay (pick a topic, do some research, start some of the 4000 words). Nothing huge now, but it will be when I get back into things. I start September 7th though, so I have more than a month to go. :)

Hmm...I have till the 24th to:

Read 5 books
Visit a university library and get proof of it
Go see a play and get proof of it
Type up 20+ pages of notes for JROTC

Bah...I'll get to it eventually. :)

haha, I have a schedule, but erm...lets see. I'm supposed to have One Hundred Years of Solitude done today. I'm on pg. 54 and it's a bit over 440 pages? Screwed? Eh, mayhaps.

I also have As You Like It, The Importance of Being Ernest (LOVE), How to Read Literature Like a Professor, and either 4 or 5 papers...I was good and read Beowulf while I was in Germany. I was in the whole knight/castle mood. That's for AP Lit.

Then for AP Gov't I need to read Hardball: How Politics is Played Told by One Who Knows the Game and write a paper over it.

I love my AP Euro teacher...he didn't give us anything. :)

I start Aug. 29th. Think I can do it? I'm leaving Aug. 4 to go to a college visit at American U. then from there on the 6th-9th we're going to my grandmas in upstate NY, then coming back and on the 12th I have another college visit at Ohio Wesleyan. hmmm...naw, I'm good.

hah, all I have to do is read two short books for ap lit and write one essay. no other homework this year! last year, I had an ap chem packet and the year before, I had 6 bio essays to write :|

oh yeah, I start september 7th or something.

I have so much left to do:
List:
Read Black Ice- (done)
Read French 4 book (on hold)
Read choice book- (close but not yet)
Read 100 years of Solitude (dreading... and barely started)
Art- (going well)
Essays- Outlines done

But currently I have to finish my homework for film camp. it's in a week! Means I have to finish "Shot by Shot"
AHHH!

all by aug. 29

Well I have to read four books on European History
first one 300<
second one 300< <415
third one 415< <600
fourth one 600+
and do book reports. it;s due on the third-seventh week

I'm screwed, too. I have six books to read, and I only started reading them yesterday:eek: I've finished with the first chapter of the first book. Seven more chapters to go. Hopefully, I'll be done with the book by Wednesday or Thursday:cool:

And, I'm still waiting for my Algebra teacher to send me my summer assignment:(

This is gonna be a loooong month.;)

I have to um get statistics for my intel project, start introduction, and finish most of the paper before school starts. I also have to read 2 books, one 300 pages and 1 800 pages( The Bleak House). Also have to study for Chem SAT II retake and Math 2c for Oct. Finally, I have to practice for the ACT, which I am taking in a lil over 2 months. Yeh, I hope I dont fall victim to the malignant disease of procrastination.

I have to learn a few more topics in Algebra II (Exponential/Logarithmic stuff, Conics, Binomial Theorem, Matricies) .
Learn Trigonometry.
Take an exam for a class I've never taken because I took a class at a college/self studied the course over the summer (Algebra II/Trig).
Read two books (and do several reports) for English.
Define 100 terms and write ten paragraphs by hand for Psychology.
Review packet for Calculus.
I also need to somehow review two years of Spanish because I took a year off and decided to take it this year.

August is going to be fun.

Wow...

Umm... I've never had summer work.

I have yet to start my packet for AP Chem. I bought our "required" review book (Barron's) for it yesterday at Borders. Schools in 3 weeks.
