The Unanswered Questions

Before I start rambling on with my silly questions, here are my stats.

1930 SAT (690 math, 670 writing, 570 english)
2.9 cumulative gpa (2.9, 2.2, 3.6 - 1 ap, 2.9 - 3 ap's)
major: computer science (possible dual major with business)
international experience (living in unstable conditions and moving affected my gpa, which i included in my essay), impressive work credentials (<a href="http://www.janmedia.com%5B/url%5D">www.janmedia.com</a>, smithsonian institute)

Academics
So I got into the CIS department. How does the department compare with other schools of Northeastern? What is it's ranking? I found out that Northeastern has a School of Technoligical Entreupeneurship? How does this school compare? (I'm really interested in start my own business, hence my possible dual major with business) Also, how intense is the dual major program with Computer Science and Business? Is it a mandatory five year program?

What is the general academic intensity like? Are classes hard, easy, interesting? Are history classes and other liberal arts classes a joke?
Also, is the four year program for any major "harder"?
And finally, I read somewhere about taking courses from other international universities including Cambridge? How does that work?

Transportation
Does the school have an affiliation with the metro system where students can receive discounted tickets?

Honors Program
How can I apply to the honors program? Can I apply in the middle of my freshman year?

Social
Is it hard to keep in touch with students during the co-op transition? Can you co-op with friends?

Financial
Is it true that tuition gets cheaper? The first year is about 40k, and afterwards, does it cut in half?

Transfer/Graduate
Is it true many of the students go on to top graduate schools like MIT/Harvard/ transfer to these top schools?
And to my last question. I've taken 5 AP's, including World History, English Literature, Comptuer Science, Calculus and Psychology.
I got a D+ for World History but a 4 on the AP exam, a B for English but a 2 on the exam. I have a C in Calculus, a C+/B in Computer Science, and a B in Psychology, and plan on getting 3's or better on all of the exams for those classes. Can I earn college credits for any of these classes? Will they affect my GPA? Will they expedite my college enrollment?

I look forward to going to Northeastern. The campus is beyond beautiful, the chicks are even more stunning than the campus, and the co-op program seems awesome.
Btw, I skateboard. Is it illegal to skate on campus, and do lots of the students skate? What is Boston in general like with regulations regarding skateboarding, because here in Washington DC with all the federal property regulations, we get into a lot of ***** with the police and often get arrested with $50 dollar fines. (sorry, last sets of questions)

Well I read somewhere that tuition doesn't get cheaper, but you start doing co-op after your first year, so you get some extra income.

and you don't pay tuition during your coop.. you do pay room and board tho

you end up paying 4 years of tuition in 5 years

4 years of tuition? that doesn't make sense.

if the first year is 30k for tuition, then the following years with co-op should be 15k. so in reality, it shold be 2.5 years of tuition right? (4 year instead of 5 year)

No.. It isn't split evenly between school and coop for the 5 years. You end up doing coop for three six-month sessions and you take classes over the summer for some years in order to make it a full 4 years of classes. It's kinda late right now so I'm not going to go find this paper I have that has the typical layout of coops that I got from my visit to Northeastern but I'll try to remember to find it tomorrow.

The admissions office told us that for a typical bachelor's degree you will pay 8 semesters of academic tuition over either 4-5 years depending on whether you choose the 5 year co-op program or not. The only additional expense is one more year of housing in that program.
