Anyone hear back for Biology entry level?
Daughter was admitted to McCombs! (She was an auto admit to the university)! Good luck everyone!!

Just checked my status and found my daughter got admitted to Biology in CNS. Wait is over finally :-). Best of luck to everyone waiting for their status.
Not admitted to Computer Science, instead three option offered 1) Get waitlisted, 2) PACE agreement, 3) CAP agreement. In-state, not an auto-admit (high school ranking somewhere around 20%).
Are these options the same for all in-state, because in-state applicants are never downright denied?

Daughter admitted Cockrell, Mechanical Engineering. No honors decision yet. 800CR + 740M and valedictorian in class of 350. Light on leadership. Decent EC’s. She is sitting on a full tuition/room and board offer at a smaller school. Good problem to have. Good luck to everyone. Dad bleeds burnt orange. Hookem!

My daughter was rejected. Moody College of Communication. Out of state. 1960 SAT, 4.19 GPA, no class rank. Knew it was a long shot.

Just got CAP from Mccombs (1st choice) and economics (2nd choice) with 2020SAT, 32ACT, and 99.97GPA. My school doesn’t rank. Good luck everyone!!

1800 SAT, 5.6GPA, and top 1%
Daughter accepted Mccombs. Instate, top 4%, 33ACT. My work is done here
Daughter is an autoadmit. Denied her first choice major BME; Appeared to not have been offered her second choice major in Chem E. Says that she will be able to choose from available majors on feb 26th. This is a joke and here’s why:

lots of community service
Do they really expect a kid who wants an engineering degree with these stats to choose from “available” majors…at a loss…
@dansmoaustin Sorry for the bad news. Seems like you could appeal and have a great case. What other colleges did your daughter apply to?
@Baylorpoly Hmm, currently I’d say (Might change in the future)
- UMass Amherst (Great program for CS, Honors College and a decent scholarship)
- UMinnesota (close second)
- Texas A&M (Waiting for scholarship notifications and well Engineering at College Station is great)
- Purdue (Great program but no scholarships)
- UofArizona/ASU/Rutgers
My son was waitlisted, Major MechE. Also offered Cap and Pace. non auto admit: 91 of 650. 2110 SAT. National Merit Commended. In state. Current internship during school year and for the next 4 summers through district with Global Aerospace Engineering Company.
He is already accepted to UT Arlington Engineering and TAMU general engineering.
He is very disappointed right now.
UMass and T A&M seem like the best. U Minnesota will be o so cold X_X
