Not admitted for OOS Architecture. 4.00 uw GPA. 32c ACT. Class rank 1/26 (I go to a very small prep school lol). Looks like I’m going to Cal Poly instead!

What’s the point of appealing? They must have decided she was not good enough, right? Totally confused. And yes…miffed. Lots of kids with lower stats and ECs getting in. Their loss…
Got CAP’d. Bawling my eyes out because UT is the only school I had my heart set on and I wanted to start freshman year. This is awful. </3 My parents are going to be so disappointed in me.

Son admitted to UT Computer Science!!!
Not sure what that is…do you mean she really does not want to go to UT? Don’t think so…she did a summer research program at UT, was excited to work with some of the grad students,etc. Not sure UT has to worry about yield protection. Its just a mystery…but would love to really know what turned them off as to her abilities. She finds calculus, physics and chemistry easy…at one of the top schools in the State of TX…Don’t know how the major selection choice works…so its like basket weaving and freshman studies right? What a joke…just wish I was laughing. But I am happy for all you that got in. I think UT was up on her list cuz she knows she will be going to grad school.

not sure what her preference order is. I think ND, UVa and UT were up there. Think she just wanted to see what she had to consider, which won’t be until end of March.
Accepted into CNS- Medical Laboratory Science major!!! Auto-admit with pretty mediocre stats other than specialized classes that make me super fit for my major. Good luck to all.

I GOT IN!!! I got into my first choice school, electrical engineering. My stats are

No ranking, as I’m homeschooled
4.0 GPA through online classes through a virtual school as well as dual enrollment classes
ACT: 32
SAT: like 2100 I think, I dont know I hated the sat lol
No APs but I’ve taken like 60 college credits so far just for fun so that I think looked really good, especially since I took some really hard classes such as honors Calc I
I’m a good writer so probably had some good essays.
Didn’t submit any letters of rec
Lastly, I did a ton of ECs that I was really passionate about and had a great time in and wrote passionately about so that probably helped too. YAYY I’m just so happy.
