any suggestions about how to get off?
any success stories of people getting off of the list?

anyone??...

I didn't hear of a waitlist before. I know that last year's class was very large due to a bigger than usual number of acceptances. Maybe that's why they're using a waitlist this year?

This year they took much less then they've ever taken before because so many people accepted their offer last year! So I don't know?!?!>

I got in, but I'm not going. So, I guess that's one spot open!

Good luck guys!

Unfortnately,if you are on the waitlist at any school it is out of your control. You could contact the department to let them know that you are still very interested.... but beyond that you simply have to wait. Some schools will have a ranked waitlist.... some will have a waitlist by type and gender. You have no control over how they go about making invitations off of the waitlist, or whether they will even go to the waitlist. The May 1st deposit date is quickly approaching, so hopefully you will hear something soon after... but make sure that you make your deposit somewhere as well.... you can't count on getting in off the waitlist.

yeah they said I'd hear by like Mid-May.
