The Webb School-Bell Buckle, TN

I posted this on the prep school forum, but maybe this would be a better location. I know we have many parents here from Tennessee so I am hoping for some responses.

I ran into a mother of one of my daughter's friend and she ask me what I knew about The Webb School. She is aware that I frequent a school forum and was looking for any information on the school.

I know nothing about boarding school! I did a bit of research and really didn't find anything about the school other than the school website. I did see that only about 30% of the students board, whereas It seems to be about 30% day students at most other boarding schools.

Can you share with me anything about the school-the good, the bad, the ugly. I did see there was what looked like daily chapel services, but the school says it is non denominational. This is a Jewish family; will the student feel out of place? How is the faculty, the dorms, sports, etc.?

Thanks in advance.

I attended the Webb School of California, so I don't know the Bell Buckle school other than it was founded by the father of our founder. In retrospect I think the Chapel had a methodist feel to it or at least the hymnal did. About a third of our choir was Jewish, and the chapel talks were very non-denominational, more about ethical behavior than dogma. I hope the school still has a strong honor code.
