The worst possible SAT TUTOR !!

<p>So I visited a well-known tutor to help me prepare for the SAT.She charges 50$ per hour which is faaar more than the average in my country.The ''tutorial'' lasted for 60 minutes.What happened ?
She gave me an SAT !!! WRITING !!!! subject test and told me that it will help me a lot for the WR section of the new SAT.Of course,this test she gave me was not CB material but Barron<code>s (or Gruber</code>s) I started doing the 60 questions and it took me about 55 minutes to finish.In the end,she checked my answers (USING THE ANSWERS FROM HER BOOK) and it took her 2 minutes to check what I did .She only told me ''I expected more .The tutorial costs 50$ '' She didnt even tell me anything except ''Hi'' , ''make yourself at home'' , ''start doing this test'' , '' I expected more '' , ''It cost 50$'' ,''see you on Tuesday'' hahahah </p>

<p>I could hardly stop myself from telling her ''you will see my ass ,**** you fat *****''
The funniest part was that I got 700 on SAT WR in Jan but only 600 on CR.This was why i visited her - to help me prepare for CR .She only told me that ''the WR is more important''</p>

<p>She also told me that the math on the SAT consists of ''highly advanced problems that are taught in college''</p>

<p>Of course no ! I shouldnt even have paid her but i would have embarrass the girl that gave me her number</p>

<p>I had a worse tutor before that cost more.
But after I fired him after a year of tutoring, I realized, what else can a tutor do but assign you stuff to do?</p>

<p>Well.he may tell you some strategies that not many people know ,he may also give you tips how to solce specific types of math problems faster ,how to approach CR passages.</p>

<p>And I bet your tutor didnt tell you that the SAT contains ''college level logarithms ‘’</p>

<p>Some colleges don’t even consider the writing section (Georgetown, Johns Hopkins)</p>

<p>wow… i’m sorry your experience was so bad :frowning: there are some really bad tutors out there…</p>

<p>In my country,the average money a teacher earns in a month is 450 $ and this tutor stole 50$ from me in 60 minutes.I should have drunk this money in some night club .It would have even been a better investment if I had bought food for my grandparents` pigs hahaha</p>
