The college that I teach at has a 'Tuition Exchange' program with many small liberal arts colleges and a few larger Universities. My son is interested in majoring in theatre/drama with an emphasis in acting. Syracuse and Fordham are two of the larger Universities on the list with reputable theatre/drama programs, but we are primarily interested in the smaller colleges. My son has no illusions about acting as a career, though he would like to major. Here are the colleges that are on the 'exchange' list that we are interested in. Any knowledge about the quality of their Theatre/Drama program?
-Sewanee (Tenn. Williams gave major endowment)
-Beloit (have seen it listed as a good program)
-Hampden-Sydney
-Otterbein (threads speak highly of this program, but it does not have the general reputation of the above)
-Muhlenberg(is on a number of 'good theatre program' lists
-Wittenberg
-Franklin & Marshall

Just so you know, there is a theatre major forum i think. It might not move as fast as this one, though. Try posting in both.

I am new to this. I tried to post on that thread but it said closed. Thanks for replying
