<p>I was admitted to UCSC as a Theatre major. Today, I got the email that I was selected for the FYHP, so I'm definitely considering UCSC. I visited the campus a few weeks ago and saw Machinal, and I was very impressed. Does anyone know anything about being a Theatre, specifically Drama, Major at Santa Cruz? Are there many performance opportunities for undergrads, do they do many musicals (I noticed they're doing Rent this year), how are classes, etc? I'm also interested in the film program, so if anything knows about that major, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks!</p>
