There's a river?

FWIW, I uploaded a few pics taken last November along the Black Warrior River/Riverwalk. They were taken with a phone, so the quality is what is.

To view them, click on this link:

Then click on the CC photos tab. They should be the four newest images (numbers 402, 404, 399, 405).

Please tell me there’s a place to get frosty alcoholic drinks while sitting by the river. For us parents, of course.

“frosty alcoholic drinks” — i prefer to use the term “frosty adult beverages”, or as we say in our house “yucky water”.

On the other side of the river is the restaurant, Cypress Inn, that is literally built over the river. When you sit in the bar, you’re over the river.

On the Bama side, the area is developing. The RiverWalk has been built, and so has the new Farmers Market. New pricey condos are going up, and I suspect a nice restaurant will be going up on that side as well.

A meal at the Cypress Inn is definitely recommended. You can eat overlooking the river and you can also walk outside and down the path to their dock.

MALANAI - DD wanted a college that had four seasons.

YOu’re pics may just have sealed the deal.

Beautiful campus!

LOVE Cypress Inn!! It was the first place that my girls and I experienced true Southern hospitality AND fried green tomatoes!! YUM-

Wintzell’s (on the north side of the river in downtown Northport) is also right on the river.

Hey, whatever it takes, TXArchitect. Tell your DD I uploaded another pic in her honor.
