They Are Up

And I am in.

Good luck everyone.

I’m in!

Good luck everyone!

Damn…accepted. :stuck_out_tongue: Was expecting this tom though but w0000000t!

yay im in. this is nice :)

Thanks for the heads-up.

I asked my D to check and she got in also. When I clicked on financial aid it says that her estimated financial aid award is a Trustees Scholarship for $27,500. Is the scholarship pretty much set or do we have to wait for something official to arrive in the mail?

This is all very exciting!

dsultemeier, where did you find the financial aid estimator?

It shows up after you submit your online fin aid. There’s a part on the app where you can choose yes or no to seeing an fin aid estimate.

Thanks Dorkdorkdork! Trustees Scholarship :)

dsultemeir, I would assume that the offer is solidly real, and that we will receive info in the mail soon! Congrats to you and your student!

Congrats to you also. Unfortunately my D still has a bunch of other schools to hear from. However, I doubt the others will be that generous with scholarship money.

I got in! Yay :)

in… yeah!! thanks for the heads up to check!! :)

I have a question about accessing the financial aid info that I’m hoping someone can help me with. where exactly do you check to see an online estimate of financial aid? I can’t see it on the information summary that we submitted. can someone help me out?? thnks very much!!

^
I believe you need a sign on and password to access the briefCase financial aid form. You only get that after you’ve been admitted. Wait for the acceptance letter for the info.

Hopefully, you’ve already filed the FAFSA.

Congrats to all!

Generally, Case is pretty good at meeting need; some loans and work-study, but they do put a package together that should allow you to attend if money is an issue.

thanks… I was looking at the briefcase info that I submitted several weeks ago, and yes, we sent in fafsa weeks ago … lol I’m just anxious to see the info if its on the website somewhere…

Congrats to all! I’m in with a provost scholarship

If you have access to briefCase, submit the “Case Financial Form” (basically a confirmation of the FAFSA info) which you can find after clicking the link for newly admitted students and it will then bring you to an “estimated financial award” page that may or may not include a scholarship offer.

Good luck!

bummer…I had already submitted the form prior to her being accepted so now when I click on that page, there’s just a summary sheet of the information I already submitted and nothing else to click. oh well… guess we’ll have to wait for the hard copy. thanks for info though!!

cal2827, I think if you look on the upper left-hand corner of that page that reads “Financial Aid”. If you click that, you can find the award estimate.

I’m disappointed in my financial aid award. Got the provost, 17,500, a Case grant of 10000 and the rest in loans.

Considering my extremely low EFC, I’d have hoped they would rely less on loans.

Oh well, if they weren’t near the bottom of my list, they are now.

<sigh…> I’ve gone to that page and clicked on “fin’l aid” for the umpteenth time now and I still just get a summary of what I already submitted. oh well…</sigh…>

yeah case kindof sucks for fin.aid… i find it humorous that their Trustee’s Scholarship is worth more than their Presidential Scholarship, though!
