So just for fun, I tried logging into the myColby page and it worked. And now the page says:

"Welcome to Colby

And a special welcome, too, to the Web portal developed especially for the Class of 2013. We hope this site will be helpful not only for looking up information necessary for beginning your Colby career (most of which will also be sent to you as hard copy) but also for beginning to develop friendships with your classmates.

I expect that you have already visited Colby's home page, Colby College | Four-Year Liberal Arts College in Maine. I encourage you to do so again, now that you can explore the site as a member of the Class of 2013. It's worth checking out the wealth of information, in particular the academic department pages, which should be helpful as you prepare to pre-register for courses."

i got the same thing. It said welcome to the class of 2013. But it doesn't say you got accepted. I'm thinking it's wrong, and everyone is getting this. Am I right?

i see it too, and it'll let me pay the deposit. but i'm confused and don't want to get my hopes up yet. where is the decision supposed to be posted tomorrow? on the normal app status checker or the mycolby?

Try logging in, then going to myColby. When I'm logged out, I see the Class of 2013 homepage, and the tabs next to "Class of 2013" are "Libraries," "Help," then "Feedback." That part, the home page, stays the same.

However, when I log in, the tabs change. The tab "Class of 2013" stays the same, but then the new tabs are Campus Life, Academics, Help, Feedback, My Pages. Under Campus Life, I see things like the menus for the day and under Academics, this thing that looks like a class search pops up.

Log in --- does it look like that? It still doesn't say anything about being accepted, but there's more information.

I went directly to the Colby College website and went into MyColby without logging in. I get the message. Confusion much? I doubt it means anything. Fingers crossed!

When I go to the Enrollment Response I get two options:
I wish to remain under consideration for September or January admissions to Colby College
I do not wish to remain on Colby's Wait List. I have decided to enroll at:

So it seems I have been waitlisted (again).
But I might also be a mistake in the system...

Wow. I don't seem to get anything :( When I click SUbmit it says to choose either Accept or Decline, but I don't see any buttons saying either. Aargh. This should mean I'm rejected. Sigh.

Well, I can log in but the tabs don't change. It says on the mycolby page that to access the additional features you must log in, right? Since you (Cranberrykiss) can view those additional things, I think you must have been accepted! You will find out very soon, anyway! :) Can others view those additional tabs, too?

Yeah, mine don't change too. But let's just relax. Since decisions will be available online only tonight, they're probably still updating. We're internationals, remember. On the important dates to remember column, click on Enrollment Response Due. I'm very nervous. Good luck to the both of us :)

By the way, what essays did all of you write for the Colby supplement? I wrote on the one about reading.

Oh...Yes, I clicked on the enrollment deposit and it has my name, address, and email address and asks me whether I want to remain on the wait-list or not. So, I guess I have been wait-listed (also, AGAIN!)...
