What I have:
-my passport (for photo identification)
-ACT admission ticket
-3 sharpened no. 2 pencils
-a calculator for the math portion
Is this all I need for the ACT, or do I need additional forms/items?
Thanks!

That’s all that is required. My son normally carries a bottle of water and snacks like a granola bar for breaks.
i’m just asking, is a passport (recently renewed) acceptable as an ID?
I have no idea, my son has just used his driver’s license so I don’t know about a passport.
Bring:
–Your ticket
–Photo identification
–Number 2 pencils
–Watch
–Calculator
–Snacks
Don’t bring:
–Textbooks, foreign language or other dictionaries, scratch paper, notes, or other aids
–Highlight pens, colored pens or pencils, or correction fluid/tape
–Any electronic device, other than a permitted calculator
–Reading material
–Tobacco in any form
ID:
–Must be an original, current (valid) ID issued by a city/state/federal government agency or your school.
–School ID must be in hard plastic card format. Paper or electronic formats are NOT acceptable.
–Your first and last names must match the ticket. The photo must be clearly recognizable as you.

so is a passport an acceptable id because its from the government?
Yes
As long as the photo on the passport is recent, and they can easily tell it’s you, then a passport is fine. Why don’t you take your school ID as well. The link in post #4 explains everything in more detail.
i don’t think the school gave me a school-issued id
oh gosh i just failed the ACT yesterday
i got 29-31
that paired passage in reading was just torture
math was way harder than usual
english and science were pretty straightforward but still there were some questions i were unsure of
29-31 is far from failing. Wait and see what your actual score is.
My son would be thrilled if he got 29-31 yesterday, he is stuck at 24. He thought he would at least come up in math since they have been doing some ACT prep in math class but he said that it had a lot of weird stuff that he had never seen before. He felt okay about the other sections though, but historically his “feeling” of how he did on sections isn’t always correct.
then maybe its just my pessimism
