Think college

I got a worksheet that test us on colleges’ name. You guys wanna try for fun?
All you have to do is guess the colleges’ name based on the clue.

Barbie’s friend +1/50th of the U.S.A

morning funeral vehicle

married English royalty

rodents of Dover

toothpaste

cattle I.D.'s on gaming cubes

Iowa crop + bell sound

almost a redhead

General Omar

fourth letter + the apostle

lingerie brand name

Buster’s color

faithful

male duck

bunches of hairs, feathers, grass, etc.

Oriental carbohydrate

complaining (but with an a) or metric weight + rhymes with telephone sound

frozen pastry queen’s “sister” or Abraham’s wife + [blank] of Arabia

narrow highway

big hill+ sacred harness for oxen

face on a dollar or chopped the cherry tree

designer jeans

bramble on a precipice

Jesuit missionary and explorer or another word for grocery store

toilets + bunny move + relatives

I’ll post the rest of this up tomorrow. Some of these are really hard.

All I can figure out is #16- Rice University

These are some that I think I have:

5 is Colgate, #7 is Cornell, #8 is Auburn, #10 Depaul, #12 is Brown, #21 is George Washngton University or Washington University in St. Louis.

Sarah Lawrence

I might have some others:

2 is Amherst, #3 is Duke, #14 is Drake University, #17 is Grambling State.

Vanderbilt

I think I have a few more:

6 is Brandeis, #19 is Tulane, #23 is Briarcliffe.

Sweetdream, should #1 be "rhymes with Barbie's Friend" because then Penn State would make sense because Penn rhymes with Ken and 1/50th of the U.S. is a state.

This challenge is pretty interesting and I will keep posting each time I figure another one out.

Man, I'm pretty good at this:

25 is Johns Hopkins

I'll explain how I got this one to prove that I'm not cheating:

A john is another word for a toilet
Bunnies hop
Kin is a another word for a relative

Put the 3 together and you get the answer.

you really are good at these! I have no idea on any!

I might as well exlpain as many of them that I solved as I can:

2 is Amherst b/c AM is in the morning and a hearse is a car that transports coffins. If you put the two together, it sounds like Amherst.

3 is Duke b/c a Duke is an English royal

5 is Colgate b/c Colgate is a type of toothpaste.

6 is Brandeis because cows are branded for identification and dice are gaming cubes.

7 is kind of a guess b/c corn is grown in Iowa.

8 is Auburn b/c auburn hair is reddish-brown

10 is DePaul b/c D is the 4th letter and Paul was a apostle.

12 is a guess but I'm pretty sure it is Brown because it is the only famous college I cna think of that has a color for a name.

14 is Drake because a Drake is a male duck. That's why Drake's products have a duck on the packaging.

17 is Grambling because a gram is a metric measurement and bling rhymes with ring, a sound a phone makes.

19 is Tulane because a narrow highway would probably be a "Two lane" highway.

21 is George Washington University or Washington University because he is the dude on the dollar.

23 is Briarcliffe because a bramble is a thorny bush like a briar and a precipice is another word for a cliff.

I have two possibilties:
24 is Marquette?
9 is Bradley?

and 20 is Mount Holyoke

Good job VeganActress. Those answers make sense.

15 is Tufts because a tuft of grass is a little patch of grass.
