<p>Well, I've just recently discovered Davidson during my research and I am REALLY glad I did. But here's the question--how do you think I stack up? That's right, chance me if you can.</p>
<p>To put everything quickly:</p>
<p>About me:
White male from PA
Interested in biology major (perhaps a bio/marketing double major?)</p>
<p>Academics:
GPA: 3.9ish UW, about 105-106/100 W (not sure how that translates on a 4.0 scale)
Rank: 2/around 400
SAT I: 660M 760CR 730W 2150 total (and retaking hopefully to a 2200+, which I think is certainly in my league...I KNOW I can break 700 in math)
SAT II: 740 US History 690 Math I
Hardest courses at school, taken all APs offered (7 of them) all other classes are honors</p>
<p>Quick list of my most interesting/involved ECs:
--United States Senate page for Sen. Arlen Specter (without connections!)
--three week internship at World Aerobics/Hip Hop Championship in Los Angeles for two straight summers (Hip Hop Championships will actually be featured on upcoming NBC show)
--TONS of volunteer work at my church, literally 1000s of hours for as long as I can remember in every job imaginable
--school bowling team throughout HS (sadly not the athletic type!)
--steady part time job for two years at local hospital and nursing home
--National Merit Commended Scholar
--I dabble in photography as well... nothing monumental, but I actually won a contest in our local newspaper</p>
<p>Essays and recs will hopefully be great. I can't see anything going wrong there and I'm certainly not going to slack off on them.</p>
