Hi, I'm going to be applying to Stephens College in Columbia, MO, but I had a some questions, I've looked at some review sites (including Studentreviews), but still was unsure about some things. So, I was hoping if you went there or know anybody who did you could help me. I already posted this in the Stephens College forum, but saw that it didn't seem to be that active, so I thought posting it in the women's college section would help.

When it comes to applying, do they want an interview, or is the application with essay all they need (aside from the transcripts, etc)?

How are the dorms, are they clean/safe? (I've heard mixed reviews about the dorm rooms/halls, so I just wanted to know. Especially, about the Searcy dorms, since I'm hoping to be able to bringi my cat and since Searcy is their Pet Residence hall, I would like to know about it).

How do the students from Stephens and Mizzou get along? I've heard from some they get along, and from others they don't.

Any advice you can give me if I do get accepted into Stephens.

Are there any teachers that I should avoid getting/choosing for a class?

I know that we're supposed to bring a mini-refrigerator, but I was wondering does the school have a place (like a student store), where you can buy one? I wanted to know since another college I was looking at had a place that you could buy one from them.

I hope it's alright to ask this, but I'm undecided in my major and for the essay, if I put that I was undecided in my major, would that hurt my chances of getting into the school (I read somewhere, not to put down that you were undecided in a major).

I wanted to bring my cat with me to college, but I was wondering if there was a specific age, or if it had to have been living with you for a specific amount of time.

I know this might seem weird, but I've always felt comfortable/safe when being on the second and higher floors, would be alright to ask if I could have a room on the second or higher floor.

How exactly does getting scholarships work? I understand that the application helps with deciding it, but is there anything else nessacary?

Um, I recently learned that there are some dangerous insects around/in the Columbia area that are agressive (I don't know their name, and don't want to know honestly). Are they found around/in/near the school/class/dorms? I do have a fear of insects, and would like to know.

I know these are a lot of questions, I'm sorry about that, but I wanted to thank everybody in advance for helping me with my questions.
