Thinking of going to grad school in england bad idea?

I want to get a masters in Information System or something similar (seems like every school have different name for it). Last summer I did study abroad in Paris and wish to live europe for least a year. I been intrigued by UK school's for them being one year long, tuition is lot less, and the program are more technical then the US program (most of the US programs are under business department unlike the uk ones are under computer science). I have just been getting a negative feedback from family and friends with this idea, and I am not sure what to do. The thing I am most worried about is getting a job when I come back.

For references The school I will be applying for in the US are University of San Francisco, Pittsburg, Florida, GWU, Maryland

Have you considered graduate programs in Human-Computer Interaction? There are several good ones in the United States. Students study interface design and information systems.

I looked in those programs but they require a BS in CS. I have a BS in biz admin emphasis in Information System with a minor in CS.

^ GT’s does not require a CS BS. I don’t know which schools you looked at.

No they don’t. I’m attending a top-ranked program that offers HCI and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering is not required.
